Constituent Structure
Introduction
Primitive operations on constituent structure are divided into three
classes:
 |
 |
- Features:
Predicates that access and instantiate constituent feature values.
- Internal structure:
Predicates that provide access to the internal structure of simple and
complex constituents.
- Constructors:
Predicates for building
basic constituents and complex constituents out of
simpler constituents.

In some cases, depending on the mode of usage, an operation may belong
to more than one class.
